PM Box · Humanity & Inclusion
Accessibility statement
Humanity & Inclusion wants the PM Box to be usable by everyone who manages, follows or supports its projects, whatever their disability. This statement applies to the PM Box, version 0.9.0.
Compliance status
The PM Box is partially compliant with RGAA 4.1 (WCAG 2.1, level AA), because of the points listed under "What does not conform".
- Established on
- 2026-10-14
- Screens checked
- 74 screens, on every build
How it was checked
- axe-core 4.13 with the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, in Chromium, on every build: the build fails on a serious or critical violation
- the platform's own design rules: state said in a word as well as a colour, contrast from one set of colour tokens, Lato at a readable size
- the screens in English and in French
What does not conform
- Charts. Charts are drawn on a canvas; each carries a text label and a sentence below it, and the figures are in the table beside it, but a chart's own points are not read out one by one.
- Generated documents. PDF files the platform generates (donor reports, workplans, the logframe) are not tagged PDF; the same content is on the screen and in the Word and Excel exports.
- Maps. The map of the project dashboard is a picture of where the projects are; the same projects are listed beside it with their country and region.
- Documents added by users. Files people attach (scans, photos, partners' reports) are as accessible as they were made.
- Automated checking. The automated rules find about a third to a half of the RGAA criteria; the rest — the order of reading, the meaning of the words, the use with a screen reader — calls for a manual audit by people, including people with disabilities.
Technologies relied on
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (no plug-in)
- WAI-ARIA
- Chromium, Firefox and Safari, current versions
Report a barrier
If you cannot use part of the PM Box, tell the PM Box administrators of Humanity & Inclusion, through the person who opened your account or HI's service desk: say which screen and what stopped you. You will be given another way to reach the information or the service, and the barrier is recorded to be removed from the platform.
